We care about children here at St. Mark. JAM (Jesus and Me) is our way of passing the baton of faith to the next generation. Children begin in church with their families and after the Reading of the Word, are invited to follow the teachers for learning and fun as they will explore how Jesus loves and cares for them. The curriculum is Bible-based and introduced in an age-appropriate way with interactive and hands-on activities to support the children's learning. We have two classes available dividing into a younger age class (beginning with preschool age) and an older age class (up through 6th grade).
We can imagine how the Wise Men must have wrestled with their emotions as they searched for Jesus, and their excitement as they finally found Him—the “light of the world”—right in front of them! Just as God gave the Wise Men a star to follow in order to find Jesus, He gives us clues to find what will really fulfill our search in the Bible. We don’t have to feel like we are lost and searching in the darkness, because the Bible lights our way straight to Jesus.
